Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 manual, registered 19/03/1999, 82k miles, 12 months MOT, full service history, 6 owners, HPI clear.Walk-around video of this car available at:ExteriorHere we have a wonderful example of the Porsche 996 equipped with the highly desirable factory fitted GT3 aero kit. The car is finished in the beautiful Black Metallic paint colour (colour code L744) and was specified from the factory with the sun-roof delete option, which presents a lovely sleek looking roof line. The coachwork is in very nice condition throughout with all the panel gaps sitting perfectly and no damage to note of. The condition of the paint is equally good with a deep metallic shine and minimal marks, limited to a few minor ones to the front bumper. The Porsche has benefitted from a soft-head machine polish and hand wax while in with us to protect and enhance the nice condition of the paintwork. The alloy wheels that the car rests on are it's original Porsche "twist" 18" alloys, which are in good presentable condition and have Nankang tyres fitted that are less than 1,500 miles/12 months old.InteriorThere is a full black leather interior to accompany the black exterior and everything inside has worn very nicely as the photographs demonstrate. The seats have minimal wear, with only minor signs to the drivers side bolster, the carpets are immaculate and the dashboard, door cards and headlining etc are in fantastic shape. Everything inside operates as it should and there are key fobs present with the car. This particular example has a fairly basic optional extra specification, which is something we on the 996 as it provides a less complicated, lighter Porsche that feels more analogue to drive. The optional extra codes read as follows: C16, 490, 939, 982.MechanicsThe 911 drives brilliantly and absolutely does not feel it's age. The 3.4 litre flat six engine performs just as it is meant, starting first time, idling smoothly and providing great power on the road. There are no leaks from underneath, no smoke emitted from the rear and no untoward sounds. The gearbox changes through it's six gears smoothly and the clutch feels light with a positive bite. The brakes stop the car powerfully and the handling feels tight and gives confidence when cornering at speeds. Suspension components have recently been renewed, such as the front lower control arms and front anti roll bar bushes.Service historyThere is a fantastic service history present, including a two inch thick folder filled with paperwork such as maintenance work invoices, MOT certificates, HPI reports, sales invoices etc, the original Porsche leather wallet with all of the original owners manuals and the service book with 11 servicing intervals completed as follows:11/03/2000 - 9,758 miles, 26/06/2001 - 20,049 miles, 19/09/2002 - 26,951 miles, 07/10/2003 - 33,989 miles, 03/06/2005 - 41,184 miles, 22/03/2006 - 52,676 miles, 12/06/2007 - 64,990 miles, 31/07/2008 - 69,299 miles, 07/03/2014 - 72,586 miles, 14/02/2016 - 73,617 miles, 20/05/2018 - 81,444 miles. In addition, while with us, the Porsche will benefit from a fresh service and MOT ready for it's new owner.
