Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 manual, registered 01/03/2000, 113k miles, MOT 12/09/2019, full service history, 5+ owners, HPI clear.Walk-around video of this car available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVwROM_PXbw&feature=youtu.beExteriorPresented in the manual coupe guise, equipped from the factory with the non sun-roof option and the GT3 aero kit, this all-wheel driven 996 is a very desirable example. The aesthetics of this 996 are second-to-none, with beautiful bodywork, which is straight along all it's panels and free from any damage or repairs. The Arctic Silver (paint colour code L92U) is in glorious condition with no notable scratches and a phenomenal deep shine that reflects like a mirror. In the last 12 months the front bumper and bonnet have been resprayed to remedy stone chips and so the only notable imperfection on the bodywork is an inch long mark to the rear bumper. While in with us we have treated the Porsche to a full body soft machine polish and hand wax to enhance and protect the superb paintwork. As above, this example is a non sun-roof model which presents a clean and sleek looking roof line. In addition, the Porsche has also been lowered to the height of a Carrera with Porsche M030 sports suspension, offering a 911 with great stance but maintaining it's practicality over speed bumps. Beneath the car are Porsche BBS alloys, which are it's original two piece split GT3 design wheels. All four wheels have been split and professionally refurbished in the last 12 months with the centre piece in a gun metal grey and the outer rim in chrome. The tyres fitted are Continental Conti Sport tyres; the fronts have lots of tread remaining and the rears are low.InteriorIn the cabin of the Porsche is a classic black leather interior which is in stunning condition and would not look out of place in a car that had covered half the mileage and years. The seats are in brilliant order with very minimal wear at all and things like the alcantara suede headlining, the carpets, dashboard etc are all in immaculate condition. All the electrical functions inside work as Porsche intended for them to and this particular car has some nice optional extras including the aforementioned alcantara suede headlining, stainless steel "Carrera 4" door shuts, three-prong steering wheel, Tequipment chrome tail pipe tips, sun-roof delete and of course the GT3 aero kit. In addition, the Porsche has had modest scenic reverse sensors and modest black grills fitted to protect the front radiators at considerable expense. The optional extra codes for the Porsche read as follows: C16, XLR, X54, X70, X71, 236, 424, 425, 436, 490, 567, 689, 695, 936, 981, 983, 09991.MechanicsThe mechanical condition of the 911 is wonderful, with absolutely no fault in the way it drives or performs. The engine runs smoothly, revs cleanly and possesses brilliant power. There are no leaks from underneath, no smoke from the tail pipes and no untoward noises from within; simply the lovely sound made through the stainless steel exhaust system that is mounted to the car. The manual gearbox changes through all of it's six speeds effortlessly and the clutch is light with a good bite. The brakes stop the car well, having benefitted from new front discs and pads 10,000 miles / 18 months ago. The Porsche handles phenomenally and feels as tight as it did the day it left the factory thanks to the fairly comprehensive suspension overhaul it benefitted from less than 12 months ago. The details of this can be found in the section below.Service historyThere is an extensive history with this Porsche, which includes not only it's maintenance booklet with 14 intervals stamped, but also all of it's original owners manual and booklets and a large folder filled with paperwork such as invoices for works, HPI certificates and MOT certificates etc.The service intervals completed have all been by Porsche main dealer or independent specialist and the dates list as follows: 31/07/2002 - 12,385 miles, 10/05/2004 - 19,865 miles, 11/05/2005 - 24,632 miles, 02/05/2006 - 36,517 miles, 09/02/2007 - 47,913 miles, 25/02/2008 - 61,066 miles, 20/03/2010 - 85,002 miles, 16/09/2011 - 88,403 miles, 03/07/2013 - 91,821 miles, 13/01/2014 - 92,355 miles, 12/08/2015 - 95,289 miles, 07/09/2016 - 100,066 miles, 15/12/2017 - 103,402 miles, 26/06/2018 - 108,222 miles. Some recent works evidenced by the substantial history file include; drivers door lock, wheel refurbishment, front bumper and bonnet re-spray, 4x suspension lower control arm, 2x anti roll bar bush, 2x drop link, 2x bump stop, 4x suspension spring, 4 wheel alignment, brake pipes, coolant expansion bottle, engine mount, air conditioning pipe, 6x ignition coils, brake discs and pads, stainless steel exhaust back boxes.
