Short video of the car:

Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 manual, registered 05/08/1999, 108,064 miles, MOT 09/10/2019, full service history, 5+ owners, HPI clear, fully rebuilt engine & gearbox 05/10/2018.

Found in the classic combination of Arctic Silver body colour (paint colour code L92U) and black leather interior, this Porsche 996 is one that is very pleasing on the eye. The bodywork is in wonderful condition throughout, with the beautiful curvature of the Porsche's coachwork free from any car park dings or scrapes, and all of the panels and panel gaps as they came out of the factory. If being highly critical, there are a few minor marks to the bumpers, but this does not take away from the car's overall superb appearance. The paintwork has a gorgeous metallic glisten and is without any notable scratches. While with us, the car has undergone a full body soft head machine polish and had wax to give emphasis to the fantastic condition of the paint and to provide protection. This particular example is a non sun-roof car, which offers a cleaner and more simplistic looking roof line. The car sits on it's original and genuine two piece split BBS alloy wheels, which are in presentable condition and have tyres with very good tread remaining.

Inside is the classic black leather interior, which is also in fantastic condition throughout. The seats have worn very well indeed, including the typical wear point on the drivers side bolster, which has little cracking, as is seen in the pictures. The carpets have very little wear, the dash and door cards present brilliantly and the headlining is as new. Every function inside the car works as Porsche intended, including the air conditioning which has benefitted from new air conditioning condensers and a re-gas while in with us. There are three keys with the car, one of which is a brand new remote fob, bought and programmed while with us. The optional extra codes on this car are as follows: C16, XRL, 236, 375, 376, 436, 09991.

Mechanically the Porsche is superb. The engine suffered the dreaded IMS failure and therefore we have had a full rebuild carried out by our designated Porsche specialists mechanics. Said specialist is the very best around and we would not trust any other business to carry out such work. Almost every component conceivable was renewed or refreshed, including the intermediate shaft, which has been upgraded to the redesigned, stronger, late 997 shaft, and as such, the rear of this Porsche is mounted with an engine that could not run or perform more perfectly. While with us the gearbox has also been subject to a full rebuild and thus operates excellently with a precise and smooth gear change. While the engine and gearbox were out, we also renewed the clutch, which is therefore also perfect. The handling of the car is very good, the four wheel drive system provides tremendous grip in the corners and a four wheel alignment has been carried out while the car's been with us. There are no knocks or creaks from the suspension and the general feel of the steering is very tight and responsive. The brakes stop the car straight, true and sharply, thanks to the front discs and pads being renewed while in with us.
