Intro / exterior
Presented in the coupe, wide-bodied guise and finished in the gorgeous Lapis Blue (colour code L3A8), this 911 looks fantastic and is a real head turner. The bodywork is in outstanding condition, straight along every panel and without any paintwork blemishes or scrapes. Our usual FGP full day's detailing has been carried out to present the gorgeous condition of the paintwork in all its glory. There are very few stone chips to the nose of the car and the headlights are in nice condition with no yellow oxidisation. This example is a non-sun roof model, which gives a cleaner, sleeker looking roof-line. The original Porsche BBS wide body alloy wheels are in un-marked condition and have Pirelli P Zero tyres fitted to the front with circa 6mm of tread, and Falken tyres to the rear with circa 4mm.
The cockpit is filled by a Metropol Blue leather interior, complimenting the exterior body colour nicely. The condition of the interior beautiful, with everything free from notable wear and simply in lovely clean condition. The usual wear points such as the drivers side bolster present very well and all the electrical functions inside the car work as Porsche intended, including the air conditioning which blows ice cold. The steering wheel and gear stick have been professionally reupholstered and finished with a red stiching, which looks fantastic. There are some nice options specced on this C4S, which includes Porsche crested head rests, 8-way electric seats, PCM satellite navigation and the aforementioned sun roof delete. There are two remote key fobs. The optional extra codes for the Porsche read as follows: C16, XSC, 425, 446, 567, 662, 689, 680, 936, 981, 983, 09991.
Mechanically speaking this is a very well sorted 911. The engine runs silky smooth with no untoward noises, smoke or leaks and there is a beautiful noise emitted from the rear. The IMS bearing has been upgraded while in with us, so there are no worries with this regard. The clutch is perfectly light having also been very recently renewed and the manual gearbox travels between its six gears seamlessly. The suspension is tight through the steering and the four wheel drive system provides great traction and grip. The big Turbo brakes that the 4S model boasts have lots of life remaining in the discs and pads and stop the car sharply and confidently.
The 911 comes with fantastic provenance, with a folder filled with invoices for work carried out throughout the car's life, nearly all the past MOT certificates, HPI reports, spec sheets etc. There is also of course the original Porsche leather owners wallet containing all of the original owners manuals and the maintenance booklet that contains 18 service interval stamps.
The service intervals completed are as follows: 06/11/2003 - 7,877 miles, 15/12/2004 - 14,667 miles, 04/01/2006 - 21,815 miles, 20/08/2007 - 27,255 miles, 29/07/2008 - 34,921 miles, 21/09/2009 - 45,406 miles, 21/09/2010 - 54,374 miles, 19/09/2011 - 59,433 miles, 29/11/2012 - 63,629 miles, 25/10/2013 - 64,325 miles, 17/10/2014 - 65,463 miles, 25/09/2015 - 68,893 miles, 05/06/2016 - 70,690 miles, 01/04/2017 - 71,287 miles, 22/03/2018 - 71,984 miles, 08/05/2019 - 73,010 miles, 13/05/2020 - 76,250 miles, 16/11/2020 - 76,895 miles.
