ExteriorFriends Green Porsche proudly present this stunning example of the ever increasingly sought after early model Porsche 996. Every aspect of the car is in phenomenal condition and this has been recognised by the Porsche Owners Club who gave the previous owner an official valuation of £20,000 in 2017 at 50,000 miles. The coachwork is finished in Arctic Silver (paint colour code L92U), which is fast becoming the classic 996 colour. All the panels are straight and damage free and the condition of the paint-work itself is second-to-none. Something we particularly like about this example is the fact that it is a non sun-roof model, which presents a cleaner and sleeker looking roof-line. Beneath the car lay original Porsche "Turbo Twist" hollow spoke alloys, which are all in good presentable order and have good tyres fitted.InteriorInside the car is a Metropol Blue leather interior that compliments the silver exterior wonderfully. In a word, the interior is immaculate; the seats show minimal wear, as would be expected of a well looked after Porsche with such few miles, the steering wheel is equally unworn, the alcantara suede headlining is as new and the carpets, dashboard and door cards are also all in fabulous condition. There are no faults with the interior's electrical functions, including the air conditioning system which has just benefitted from new condensers and a re-gas. There are some nice optional extras specified on the Porsche such as the suede alcantara headlining, three-prong steering wheel, extended leather, addition speaker sound package, stainless steel "Carrera" door shuts, "Tequipment" chrome exhaust tail pipe tips and of course the non sun-roof. There are three keys with the car, two are functioning remote fobs (one of which is new) and also the original grey headed key blade. The optional extra codes for the car are as follows: C16, XSE, XSF, XSN, X54, X70, 236, 413, 424, 425, 436, 446, 490, 567, 680, 689, 698, 681, 983, 09991.MechanicsThere is not much to note of with the mechanics of this 911 as it is perfect and drives just as well as it looks. The engine performs faultlessly, starting as it should, idling smoothly and accelerating rapidly when called upon. It is free from leaks, doesn't emit smoke and doesn't create any untoward noises. The gearbox also operates just as Porsche intended with a smooth and positive change through all six speeds and the clutch is light and bites as it should. All of the brake discs and pads were renewed in the last 2,000 miles and therefore the brakes have a superb feel and stopping power. The handling is a dream with the nearly-new Pirelli tyres gluing the car to the tarmac and the suspension feeling utterly tight and fresh.Service historyA well documented service history is with the Porsche, including the fully stamped maintenance booklet with 13 intervals completed, the original owners manuals and leather wallet and a folder filled with paperwork such as invoices for maintenance works, certificate of authenticity, Porsche owners club valuation, HPI certificate, MOT certificates etc.The service intervals are as follows: 02/05/2002 - 4,656 miles, 28/07/2003 - 10,038 miles, 10/01/2005 - 17,875 miles, 11/04/2006 - 20,481 miles, 21/03/2007 - 26,209 miles, 07/05/2008 - 30,143 miles, 23/09/2009 - 36,496 miles, 31/01/2011 - 38,527 miles, 22/04/2013 - 43,361 miles, 29/04/2015 - 48,218 miles, 29/06/2016 - 50,879 miles, 29/09/2017 - 52,692 miles, 24/05/2018 - 53,088 miles. As previously noted, in addition to the routine servicing, the Porsche has also very recently had four new Pirelli tyres, two new air conditioning condensers, an air conditioning re-gas and all new brake discs and pads.
