We are proud to present the rarest Porsche 996 that we have ever had in. This car is an original Speed Yellow (paint colour code L12H) example, equipped from the factory with GT3 aero kit, M030 sports chassis / suspension, limited slip differential, and sun- roof delete. The pictures do the talking with this Porsche; it is impossible not to look at it twice as it goes by. The bodywork is in outstanding condition with no dents, dings or scrapes. The paintwork is also in superb condition with no fading to the Speed Yellow's vibrant colour, no blemishes and no swirl marks or scratches thanks to the full body machine polish and wax that the car has undergone with us at Friends Green Porsche. There are also no stone chips to the front end of the car, as we have had the bumper removed and resprayed. The alloy wheels are the original and genuine Porsche BBS GT3 style split wheels. All four have just been professionally refurbished with the centre in Satin Black and the lip in chrome. The car sits on Continental Conti Sport tyres with good tread.
The interior in this 996 is like none other we have had before. The spec was special ordered with a matching Speed Yellow centre console, yellow seat belts and yellow stitching to the black leather sports hard-back seats. It is absolutely gorgeous to look at and quite unique. The leather is in nice condition and could pass for a car of half it's years. There is no significant wear to the seats, including the drivers' side bolsters. The dash, door trims, roof lining and carpets are all very clean and undamaged and everything works as it should, including the air conditioning, which has just had two new condensers and blows ice cool. This example boasts the three prong steering wheel, full trip computer, white dials and of course; the much sought after sports hard back seats with shoulder supporting. The optional extra codes are as follows: c16, 030, x71, 220, 222, 224, 375, 376, 424, 436, 659, 695, 790, 00051, 00501, 09991, 21451, 21532. There are two working remote key FOBs with the car.
As already mentioned, this Porsche boasts the highly desirable optional extras of a limited slip differential and M030 sports chassis/suspension. These options really set the car apart from "normal" 996s, providing brilliant handling ability and a tremendously fun car to drive in the bends. The car has also benefitted from it's front lower control arms being renewed in recent years, and a four wheel alignment being carried out while in with us. The car is fitted with Dansk stainless sports exhausts that really compliment the lovely sound created by the flat 6 engine, which has power in abundance and a beautifully smooth idle. There are no leaks coming from the car, and nor is there any smoke or untoward noises present. The clutch is nice a light with a good biting point and the gearbox changes through the gears smoothly. Lastly, the brakes are in good order and the brake fluid has just been renewed so the brakes stop the car sharply.
The Porsche has a comprehensive service history present, including it's original maintenance booklet with 18 service intervals. There are also lots of MOT certificates, some invoices for past works completed, and all the original owner manuals and wallets etc.
The service intervals are as follows: 14/12/1999 - 4,763 miles, 24/10/2000 - 8,703 miles, 06/06/2001 - 11,200 miles, 07/02/2002 - 24,523 miles, 02/10/2003 - 46,519 miles, 11/02/2004 - 51,306 miles, 01/02/2005 - 60,386 miles, 05/01/2006 - 64,100 miles, 13/06/2006 - 66,544 miles, 31/08/2007 - 72,468 miles, 23/08/2008 - 76,500 miles, 22/07/2010 - 81,311 miles, 28/07/2011 - 82,817 miles, 14/03/2013 - 96,349 miles, 19/03/2013 - 96,473 miles, 02/08/2013 - 99,084 miles, 16/5/2016 - 100,720 miles.
