Intro / exterior

We proudly present for sale an incredibly well specified and beautifully well kept 997 Carrera 4S, which possesses the stronger IMS bearing and shaft configuration, confirmed by the engine number, nullifying the IMS concern. The car is finished in Arctic Silver (colour code L92U) and the gorgeous, iconic 4S wide-body is in fabulous condition. There are no dings, no nasty scrapes, and barely any stone chips to note, even to the front bumper, which we have had removed and resprayed in preparation for sale. The paint condition is equally superb, with a gorgeous shine, no blemishes, and no swirl marks, with thanks to our usual day's worth of FGP detailing that the car has undergone. The 997 sits on genuine Porsche 997 Turbo alloy wheels, which suit the wide-body of the 4S superbly and help present a true head-turner of a 911. The wheels are all in good presentable condition and are fitted with nearly new Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The black leather interior is also in beautiful order, the seats are found in a condition that represents the low mileage the car has covered. Everything operates just as Porsche intended for it to, including the air conditioning, which has benefitted new condensers and a system gas during our sales preparation process. The car boasts a nice array of optional spec, with features such as; Porsche emblem crested head-rests, front seat heating, Bose sound system with built in sub-woofer, steering wheel controls, alcantara suede headlining, and Porsche Switchable Exhaust (PSE). There are two keys with the car. The optional extra codes read as follows: XCZ, XSC, 267, 268, 342, 425, 431, 567, 610, 635, 666, 670, 680, 936, 09991.

Mechanically speaking, the Porsche is absolutely faultless and is truly excellent to drive. The car feels utterly tight in every aspect. The 3.8 litre flat six engine performs perfectly, with no leaks, smoke, or untoward noises, producing fantastic performance and a heavenly noise emitted by the Porsche Switchable Exhaust system. The handling ability of the car is brilliant, particularly when PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) is put in to operation, firming the suspension ride up. The suspension and steering feels utterly tight, having just had the front suspension top mounts, bump stops and bearings renewed, as well as a four wheel alignment, all while in with us. The brakes are sharp, having all been renewed just 2,000 miles ago. The Porsche goes through its six speeds seamlessly, with the assistance of a clutch that is positive with a nice biting point.
