Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 manual, registered on 01/10/1999, 59k miles, MOT until 21/09/17, full service history, 4 owners, HPI clear.
This cabriolet is a lovely low mileage example of the increasingly sought after 996. Finished in Black (colour code L741), the bodywork of the car is in very good order. There are no car park dings or dents and there are minimal stone chips or blemishes. There is a scratch to the drivers wing but it doesn't really deter from the overall appearance which is stunning. The paintwork itself is beautiful with a wonderful shine, also benefitting from a full body machine polish and wax while in with us. The soft top convertible hood is in good condition and has just benefitted from a brand new rear screen being fitted while in with us. The matching hard top roof is also included and presents very well. The alloy wheels are the original and genuine Porsche BBS "turbo twist" wheels. All four have just been professionally refurbished and have very good Pirelli tyres fitted.
This 996 has classic Porsche black leather interior. The condition is a good representation of the car's low mileage, with minimal wear to be seen. The seats are the optional extra sport hard backs with shoulder supporting, which are in fabulous condition. The car has a good spec with sports hard back seats, seat heating and three prong steering wheel, to name a few. All the electrics in the Porsche work as they should, including the electric soft top roof and the air conditioning system. There are two working key FOBS with the car. The car's optional extra codes are as follows: C16, 139, 236, 288, 340, 375, 376, 413, 424, 436, 551, 567, 601, 689, 695, 790, 936, 981, 983.
Mechanically the Porsche is faultless and is a pleasure to drive. The engine has power in abundance and pulls strongly in all six gears whilst providing a beautiful soundtrack. There are no abnormal noises, smoke or leaks. The four wheel drive system produces enormous grip and the steering is absolutely tight, with all four steering control arms being replaced and a four wheel alignment completed just 4,000 miles ago. The clutch was renewed 12,000 miles ago so is just as it should be, and the 6 speed manual gearbox changes through the gears smoothly. The brakes underwent a total rebuild only 12,000 miles ago so are in great condition with firm stopping power.
The service history present is impeccable. In addition to the fully stamped service book, there is also a folder full with invoices for works completed on the car throughout it's entire life, evidencing just how loved it has been by it's 4 owners. Also present are HPI certificates, past bill of sales for the car, nearly all the old MOT certificates and all the original owners manuals & wallet etc.
The service intervals completed are as follows: 20/12/2000 - 8,436 miles, 22/07/2002 - 15,136 miles, 01/10/2003 - 19,950 miles, 16/12/2014 - 23,541 miles, 23/11/2005 - 28,382 miles, 04/11/2006 - 33,009 miles, 18/05/2009 - 47,919 miles, 08/10/2010 - 52,597, 14/10/2011 - 53,254 miles, 05/10/2012 - 53,513 - 11/10/2013 - 54,061 miles, 22/10/2014 - 55,331 miles, 09/10/2015 - 56,371 miles, 06/10/2016 - 56,758 miles, 02/11/2017 - 59,000 miles.
