Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 manual, registered on 01/03/2002, 85k miles, MOT until June 2018, full service history, 7 owners, HPI clear.
Here we have a very eye-catching example of the Porsche 996. Boasting the highly desirable factory aero kit and M030 sports suspension package, this car stands out amongst the 911 crowd. Naturally, the aero kit gives the car a sportier appearance and the M030 package not only improves it's handling, but also lowers the car by 10mm, giving it a lovely stance. The bodywork's condition is superb throughout, with no car park dings to note, and almost spotless Arctic Silver (paint colour code L92U) paint work, which has benefitted from a full body machine polish and wax while with us at Friends Green Porsche, and as such, glistens wonderfully. The only negatives to be taken from the car's appearance are some stone chips to the front bumper, which is due to be removed and professionally resprayed prior to sale, and a barely-noticeable mark to the rear bumper. The Porsche sits on it's original Porsche BBS GT3 split alloys, all of which are in good presentable condition, with brand new centre caps and good Bridgestone tyres.
Inside the Porsche is a very pleasant place to be. Black leather on an Arctic Silver car is a classic combination that simply "works" and looks classy. The leather seats are in outstanding condition with minimal wear, the dashboard is in nice shape, the door cards are in very good condition, the alcantara suede headlining is as new, and the carpets are barely worn. The only noteworthy wear inside the car is some to the drivers floor mat. Every electric component in the car works perfectly, including the air conditioning which operates ice cold. This example is about as highly spec'd as can be found, with; GT3 aero kit, M030 sports chassis/suspension, HID xenon headlights, PCM satellite navigation system, BOSE sound system, alcantara suede headlining, Porsche sports exhaust system. The option codes are as follows: C16, X76, 030, 226, 288, 375, 376, 425, 567, 601, 635, 650, 09991. There are two working key FOBs present.
The Porsche is in utterly fantastic mechanical order. When we took delivery of the Porsche the clutch was heavy, so while our Porsche specialist "Porscha Care" was renewing this, the IMS bearing was also upgraded for the ceramic EPS bearing, as well as renewing the rear main crank seal, and completing a service. So, the clutch is now perfect with a lovely light pedal, and the rear main seal is bone dry. Aided by it's 4wd system and M030 sports suspension, the Porsche handles as if it is on rails, even with wet road conditions. The flat 6 3.6 litre engine performs precisely as it should and creates a stunning sound through it's sports exhaust system. While in with us, we have fitted brand new brake discs and pads all round so the car stops in an instant.
This 996 has a flawless service history, which includes not only a a maintenance booklet with 15 service stamps, but also a wad of paperwork with invoices for works and MOT certificates etc. The original Porsche leather wallet is present, filled with all it's original owners manuals etc.
The service intervals are as follows:
24/05/2004 - 10,724 miles, 15/02/2005 - 11,400 miles, 12/06/2006 - 12,812 miles, 11/06/2007 - 16,924 miles, 28/04/2008 - 28,488 miles, 31/03/2009 - 38,162 miles, 31/03/2010 - 53,382 miles, 31/03/2011 - 59,491 miles, 21/03/2012 - 64,649 miles, 19/09/2013 - 68,735 miles, 20/09/2014 - 71,918 miles, 18/01/2015 - 73,371 miles, 06/08/2016 - 80,306 miles, 29/06/2017 - 84,567 miles, 24/08/2017 - 84,990 miles.
As stated, while in with us, the car has had it's IMS bearing replaced for an upgraded EPS ceramic bearing, clutch kit renewed, rear main crank seal renewed, new brake discs and pads all round and a service.
