Short video of the car:

Porsche 911 997 Carrera manual, registered on 29/07/2005, 67,704 miles, 12 months MOT , full service history, 2 previous owners, HPI clear.

Intro / exterior

This example of the 997 Carrera is in superb condition throughout and is found with a desirable combination of specification. This particular 997 benefits from the later, stronger configuration of intermediate shaft and bearing, as confirmed by its engine number. Presented in the beautiful and rare Slate Grey body colour (paint colour code L23F), the body is perfectly straight and original, with paintwork that is immaculate, possessing a beautiful glossy finish. The car has benefitted from our usual FGP full day's detailing process and as such the superb aesthetics of the 911 are emphasised and protected. The brake callipers have been refurbished and look fabulous through the car's original and genuine Porsche BBS 19" "Lobster Claw" alloy wheels, which are in pristine condition, having also benefitted from recent refurbishment. The tyres fitted are Pirelli P Zeros with at least 6mm of tread in all four corners.

The interior could lead you to believe it is from a younger car, such is the condition of everything inside. The front seats have very little signs of wear and usual wear points such as the steering wheel and gear stick are in great condition. Everything works as Porsche intended, including the air conditioning system, which blows ice cool. It is common for the Carrera models to be thin in the spec department, but the original custodian to this example wasn't trigger-shy with the spec sheet.  Some desirable optional equipment that it boasts include; 8-way electric seats, Porsche emblem crested head rests, steering wheel controls, Litronic xenon headlights, Bose sound system with built in sub woofer, stainless kick plates, 19" "Lobster Claw" alloy wheels, and of course the special order Slate Grey body colour. There are two keys with this 911 and both are functioning remote fobs.

The 911 has clearly been cherished by its previous owners and this is evidenced through the way that it drives and performs. The car feels as tight as a drum and is utterly responsive to any steering, braking, and acceleration input. The engine sounds beautiful and does not smoke, leak, or produce any unusual noises; just the flat six symphony from the rear of the car. The gearbox passes through its six speeds wonderfully and the clutch is light, having been renewed 19k miles ago, along with the flywheel. The brakes stop the car with great force, with the front discs and pads having been renewed just 6,000 miles ago. The steering is utterly tight and responsive, instilling complete confidence to the driver when driving in a spirited manner.
