Short video of the car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGDYqVdNCkcPorsche Cayman S 3.4 manual, registered on 30/05/2006, MOT 13/12/2018, full service history, 6 owners, HPI clear.ExteriorThis superb example of the Porsche Cayman S boasts a beautiful classic Porsche combination of Guards Red paintwork and black leather interior. The Guards Red paint colour (paint colour code L84A) is uncommon amongst this year of Porsche and suits the car brilliantly, really setting it apart from the more usual silvers and blues etc. The condition of the bodywork is second-to-none, being free from any car park dings or scrapes. The only imperfections to take note of on the bodywork is some small marks to the bottom of the front bumper. The car has benefitted from a soft mop full body polish and wax while in with us at Friends Green Porsche and as such, the fabulous paintwork glistens even more beautifully, as is demonstrated by the pictures. The Cayman sits on it's original Porsche 19" "Lobster Claw" alloy wheels, which was an expensive optional extra from new, all of which are in good presentable condition. There are Kumho tyres fitted to the rear with very good tread and Pirelli tyres fitted to the front which were new 1,000 miles ago.InteriorThe Porsche has a lovely black leather interior that compliments the exterior to the car wonderfully. The condition of the sports hard back leather seats is very good, with the only notable wear being to the drivers side bolster. The carpets, dash, door cards and headlining are all in superb condition with minimal wear. Everything inside functions as it should, including the air conditioning, which benefitted from new condensers in June 2017. This Cayman has a fabulous spec which includes; PCM satellite navigation, Sports Chrono pack with the lap timer, switchable suspension and sports button, sports hard back seats with shoulder supports and Porsche emblem embodied headrests, heated seats function, quick-shift gear selector, steering wheel controls, 19" Lobster Claw alloys. There are two working remote key fobs present with the car. The option codes read as follows: C16, XCZ, XSC, 026, 235, 342, 375, 376, 403, 424, 431, 440, 475, 490, 502, 507, 567, 573, 610, 640, 665, 666, 668, 670, 692, 983, 991.MechanicsThis Cayman operates and performs just as it did when it rolled out of the Porsche factory in 2006. The 3.4 litre flat 6 engine starts "on the button" with it's battery and alternator renewed in July 2017. The engine idles beautifully smoothly, possesses power in abundance and has an exhaust note that is intoxicating. There are no abnormal noises from the engine, no smoke from the tail pipes and no leaks underneath. The Porsche is wonderfully balanced in the corners. The wheel alignment has just been checked and in the last couple of years the car has had all four suspension coil springs renewed, resulting in a steering which is utterly precise and responsive. The clutch is lovely and light with a good biting point and the 6 speed manual gearbox changes through the gears smoothly, having had it's gear cables replaced in January 2017. The brakes have lots of life in them and stop the car straight and sharply.Service historyThe Porsche has a comprehensive service history which includes it's fully stamped maintenance booklet, a folder filled with invoices for works carried out over the years and all the original owners manuals and wallet. The service intervals are as follows; 19/03/2008 - 17,881 miles, 31/03/2010 - 35,174 miles, 19/07/2012 - 49,178 miles, 17/06/2014 - 57,854 miles, 14/12/2017 - 77,605 miles. As can be seen, the Cayman has been recently serviced and shall not need another for 12,000 miles or 2 years. Recent works carried out other than routine servicing include; new tyres, wheel alignment, 4x suspension coil springs, brake light switch, alternator, aux belt, battery, air conditioning condensers, gear cables.
