+- INTRO / EXTERIOR

Presented in iconic and yet incredibly rare Guards Red, equipped with the traditional manual gearbox and with uncommon, driver-focused optional equipment such as PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) and limited slip differential, this 991 can be considered somewhat of a unicorn. The exterior condition is flawless, with pin-straight coachwork and untainted body panels. The Guards Red paintwork (paint code 80K) possesses an unmarked, glossy finish, benefitting from our usual detailing process, including a two-stage machine polish. The headlights are clear and the chromed twin tail pipe are unmarked. The matching, large Guards Red brake callipers are beautifully clean and the multi-spoke 20″ Carrera S (3) alloy wheels present superbly.

+- INTERIOR / SPEC

Within the cabin is a black leather interior, which is in a condition on par with the exterior. The leather throughout is immaculate, with no marks or creases. Wear points such as steering wheel, gear stick and handbrake are brilliantly clean, the carpets and floor mats have almost no wear, and areas such as the door cards, dashboard and headlining are as-new. The cockpit has many silver accents, such as the door cards and dashboard upper trim strips, air vent surrounds, door handles, sports steering wheel centre and instrument dials, which make for nice contrasting detail. A list of choice factory options are with the 911, inclusive of; sports seats, front seat heating, Park Distance Control, cruise control, headlamp washers, sports steering wheel, sports exhaust system, limited slip differential, PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control). All electrical functions operate as they should, including the air conditioning, and there are two remote key fobs are with the car.

+- MECHANICS / DRIVE

The Porsche is found in faultless mechanical order, with its 3.8 litre 400bhp DFI engine offering blisteringly fast performance and a wonderful noise, which is loudened or quietened at the touch of a button, due to the car being equipped with the Porsche Sports (switchable) exhaust system. Mated to the rear mounted flat 6 is a manual transmission; a rare feature on a 991 generation 911, which offers true driver engagement. This example boasts other features that are incredibly hard to come by and further enhance the driver focused feel of the car, including Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, which includes active anti-roll bars, eliminating body roll when cornering and a limited slip differential. The suspension and steering of the Porsche is sharp and confidence inspiring and the large Carrera S brake stop the car powerfully. Pirelli P Zero tyres are fitted front and rear with nearly-new levels of tread.

+- SERVICE HISTORY / PREP WORK

The 911 has been subject to a full servicing record, all carried out with the Porsche main dealer, but for one intervals with a Porsche independent specialist. The service intervals detail as follows:

28/03/2014 – 13,134 miles, 02/06/2016 – 29,655 miles, 08/06/2018 – 34,928 miles, 07/06/2019 – 36,500 miles, 06/04/2022 – 37,742 miles.

As noted, the most recent interval was completed 6 months ago, which was with the Porsche main dealer. This was the “major” interval inclusive of spark plug renewal, auxiliary drive belt renewal, brake fluid change and transmission fluid change.
