HOW WE PREPARE EVERY CAR
WHERE DO OUR CARS COME FROM?
The majority of our sales cars come from you! We receive a large number of emails and calls every week from subscribers to our YouTube channel and followers of our social media, who are looking to sell their pride and joy. We are grateful for this, as it means we receive cars directly from enthusiasts, who have naturally taken great care of their Porsche, rather than from other means, such as auctions or alike.
THE FGP COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION
All of our sales cars are subject to the FGP Comprehensive Inspection in our in-house work shop. The inspection covers every aspect of a car, ranging from cosmetic, to electrical interior functions, to the mechanical workings of a vehicle. A report is worked through and compiled during the process of the inspection, detailing the condition of the 121 items listed on the report. Any items that require attention are highlighted in red and noted.
PREPARATION WORKS
Every highlighted item on the inspection report is attended to in our in-house workshop. Once the work is complete, the car in question is subject to a thorough test drive to ensure all reported issues are remedied and that the car is therefore ready for sale.
CAR DETAILING
Prior to advertisement, every sales car is subject to a day’s worth of FGP detailing, carried out in-house by our full-time detailer. This ensures that every car that rolls out of FGP HQ is presented in its best possible light, ready for its new owner to show off and enjoy.
DOCUMENTATION
The FGP Comprehensive Inspection report is printed and added to the car’s service history file, along with a “Works Completed” document, detailing all of the preparation work that has been completed to the car. A certificate of completion for the day’s worth of FGP detailing is also provided with the car, outlining the process that’s been completed.
