+- INTRO / EXTERIOR

Friends Green Porsche present for sale this stunning Cobalt Blue 996 Carrera 4S with a full engine rebuild just completed with us in preparation for sale. The coachwork is in impressive condition, with no dents, marks or previous repairs. The paintwork is also in very good standing, with minimal stone chips and a wonderful glossy finish, benefitting from our customary pre-sales detailing process. Cobalt Blue is a rare colour and looks fabulous on the wide body of the Carrera 4S. As a non-sun roof model, the roof-line is uncluttered and sleek looking. The Porsche was specified from new with the optional Sport Techno 18″ alloy wheels, which we have had refurbished in preparation for sale. The chrome to the optional Turbo twin oval tail pipe tips is clean and all of the lights on the car are in good presentable condition.

+- INTERIOR / SPEC

Inside the Porsche awaits a Metropol Blue leather interior, which coordinates well with the lighter blue exterior. The leather is supple and without any damage. Areas prone to wear, such as the driver’s side bolstering, steering wheel and handbrake lever are in excellent condition, and the carpets, dashboard and door cards are all brilliantly clean and unmarked. All electrical functions operate as Porsche intended, including the ice-cool air conditioning system. A nice feature optioned as a special order with this 911 is the eye catching Cobalt Blue interior continuing into the cabin by way of the centre consoles being finished in body colour. Other optional equipment specified includes Porsche crested seat head rests, Tequipment aluminium embodied gear knob and handbrake lever, Bose sound system, PCM satellite navigation, 8-way electric adjustable seats with memory function, headlamp washer, Litronic xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, Porsche Sports (switchable) Exhaust (PSE), Sports Techno alloy wheels. There are two remote key fobs with the car.

+- MECHANICS / DRIVE

Significantly, we have just completed a full engine rebuild to the Porsche, including 6x new cylinder liners and an upgraded EPS cylindrical IMS bearing, future proofing the 3.6 litre flat 6 for the next next owner. Equipped with Porsche Sports Exhaust with switchable function, a glorious noise is produced, with the benefit of being quietened at the touch of a button. The admired 6-speed manual gearbox passes through all speeds seamlessly and the clutch pedal is light, having been renewed while we completed the engine works. The handling is precise and responsive, with fantastic grip offered by the four-wheel drive system. New Nangkang Sport tyres are fitted at the front and Pirelli P Zeros with 5 of tread are at the rear. The brakes stop the car confidently, having had new discs and pads to all four corners 2,000 miles ago
