+- INTRO / EXTERIOR

A truly exception example, owned by its previous owner for 8 years, with in excess of £16,000 expended to it during that time. The Porsche’s IMS bearing has also been upgraded as part of our sales preparation process, defeating this potential issue. With reason, Seal Grey is an incredibly popular body-colour, presenting a classy looking wide-bodied 911. The coachwork is in outstanding shape; straight and original across all panels, and with fabulous paintwork, exhibited in its best light by the day’s worth of FGP detailing that’s been completed. Being a non-sun roof model, the roofline is clean and uncluttered. The genuine and original wide-bodied 4S alloy wheels are in pristine condition, having benefitted from full refurbishment 2,000 miles / 12 months ago.

+- INTERIOR / SPEC

The black leather interior completes the classy, subtle colour combination of the Porsche. The sports hard back seats with shoulder supports are a desirable option, giving a sporty feel to the cabin and offering better support when pushing the car through bends. The condition of the leather is as you would expect of a well cared for, low mileage example; showing very little wear and no damage. Heavily used places such as the steering wheel, hand-brake and gear-stick have very limited wear, and less commonly used areas such as the head-lining and dash-board are as new. Every electrical function operates correctly, including the electric retractable sun-roof, and the air conditioning system, which has just had both condensers renewed and a re-gas during our preparation process. Some of the choice optional extras specified on this example include: Sports hard-back seats with shoulder support, “Tequipment” aluminium embodied hand-brake and gear-stick, automatic dimming rear view mirror, automatic dimming driver’s side wing mirror, Litronic xenon head lights, park distance control. Two remote key fobs are present.

+- MECHANICS / DRIVE

As noted earlier, this Carrera 4S has been lavished to over £16,000-worth of maintenance by its previous owner during his 8 year tenureship, which is evident through the way that it drives and performs. The 3.6 litre flat six mounted at the rear is smooth idling, clean revving, and makes a fantastic sound through the switchable stainless steel sports back boxes that were fitted 1,000 miles / 4 months ago. Our routine IMS bearing upgrade has been completed, nullifying this prominent cause for concern. While completing the IMS upgrade, we have also renewed the three-piece clutch kit, as well as the rear main oil seal, meaning there is a light and positive clutch engagement. The manual gearbox travels through its six speeds seamlessly, and the brakes stop the car promptly, with lots of life in the discs and pads. The steering and suspension is tight and positive, having had the front top mounts, top bearings, and bump stops renewed during our preparation process, and numerous other components renewed by the previous owner (detailed below). Michelin Pilot Sport tyres are fitted to all four corners, with XXXXmm of tread at the front and XXXXmm to the rear.

+- SERVICE HISTORY / PREP WORK

The service history provenance is extensive, with a folder filled to the brim with paperwork evidencing the £16,000 worth of maintenance expended in the last 8 years.
