+- INTRO / EXTERIOR

Presented here is a Carrera 4S specified in the sought after manual, coupe, non-sun roof guise, in exceptional condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. All of our usual preparation work has been carried out (detailed below), and notably, the IMS has been upgraded recently. The coachwork is beautiful clean and straight along all body panels. The paint-work is equally good, having been subject to our customary day’s worth of FGP detailing, eliminating any swirl marks, and protecting the paintwork for the foreseeable. Arctic Silver (colour code L92U) looks fantastic on the 911, contrasting with its black window mouldings and arch liners etc, and therefore exhibiting the beautiful curvature of the 4S’ wide-body. There are the usual minor stone chips to the front bumper, but this doesn’t detract from the stunning appearance of the car. The original Porsche BBS wide body wheels are in very good presentable order, and appear to have been refurbished in recent times.

+- INTERIOR / SPEC

The combination of a black leather interior on a silver exterior is a timeless Porsche combination. The condition inside is representative of the ultra-low mileage covered. The front seats are fresh, with no sagging or cracks, and generally speaking, the interior feels far younger than its years. All electrical functions operate as they should, inclusive of the air conditioning system, which has just benefitted from two new condensers and a re-gas during our preparation process. In terms of optional equipment, the Porsche boasts Bose sound system with built in sub woofer, 8-way electric seats with memory control, Litronic xenon headlights, and headlight washer system. There are two remote key fobs. The optional extra codes are as follows: C16, 288, 425, 513, 567, 601, 680.

+- MECHANICS / DRIVE

Mechanically speaking the Porsche is a credit to its previous owners, who have cared for it meticulously and only had it maintained by Porsche main dealers or Porsche independent specialists. The engine starts, idles and performs as Porsche intended, with fantastic performance, accompanied by the beautiful flat 6 engine sound. As noted earlier, the IMS bearing was upgraded within the last 5,000 miles / 3 years, giving peace of mind to the next owner. The gearbox provides positive gear changes and the clutch is light, having also been renewed within the last 8,000 miles / 6 years. The brakes are in good condition, with the rear discs and pads renewed within the last 6,000 miles / 4 years. On the road, the handling is just as would be expected of a low mileage Porsche 911. There is an abundance of grip through the bends and brilliant traction provided by the Pirelli P Zero tyres, which are brand new at the rear, and have approximately 5mm to the front. The suspension is tight throughout the car, with the front shock absorber top mounts, top bearings and bump stops all renewed within the last 12 months / 2,000 miles, followed by a four-wheel alignment.

+- SERVICE HISTORY / PREP WORK

There is an impeccable service history, with all 15 service intervals stamped in the maintenance booklet carried out by Porsche main dealers or Porsche independent specialists.
