+- INTRO / EXTERIOR

Here we have a lovely example of the Porsche 996 in classy Arctic Silver (paint colour code L92U). The coachwork of this Porsche is in superb order with no dings, dents or notable marks. The panels all align immaculately and the sides of the car are pin-straight. The paintwork is equally nice with a deep glossy shine, minimal marks or stone chips and protection provided by our usual full day’s worth of FGP detailing that we have completed. Being a non-sun roof example, the 911 has a beautifully clean and sleek-looking roof-line. The optional Litronic xenon headlight faces are clear, and the original 18″ Porsche Carrera alloy wheels are clean and unmarked.

+- INTERIOR / SPEC

The deep blue coloured leather, known as “Metropol Blue”, sits very nicely alongside the Arctic Silver exterior and provides for a classy looking 911. The leather seats have suffered very little wear, the carpets are in as-new condition, and the dashboard and door-cards look very well. Even the normal wear points such as the steering wheel, hand-brake and gear stick are in brilliant order. Everything in the Porsche works as it should including the air conditioning system, which benefitted from new pipework, a new N/S condenser, seals and a re-gas in preparation for sale. There are three keys present and the optional extra codes read as follows: C16, 226, 288, 411, 424, 425, 476, 490, 567, 601, 689, 695, 936, 981, 983.

+- MECHANICS / DRIVE

With a spritely start up, smooth idle and blistering performance, the 3.6 litre, rear mounted flat 6 is in fine health, and also sounds the part, having had stainless steel sports back boxes fitted during our sales preparation process. As part of this process, we also fitted the EPS cylindrical IMS bearing upgrade, extinguishing any need for worry in this department. During these works, the rear main oil seal and three-piece clutch kit were also renewed; leaving a light pedal and positive biting point. The well-regarded 6-speed manual transmission is a pleasure to operate, going through the gears fluently. The suspension has had numerous parts renewed recently (detailed in the below Service History / Sales Prep section), and as such, the Porsche is joyous to navigate through the bends, with utterly tight and responsive steering. The 911 rests on Pirelli P Zero tyres, which are new to the rear and have nearly-new tread to the front. Within the last 5,000 miles the brake discs and pads have been renewed to all four corners.

+- SERVICE HISTORY / PREP WORK
