Friends Green Porsche are delighted to offer for sale, for the second occasion, this outstanding first generation Porsche 997, in a choice specification, with exceptionally low mileage and with in excess of £7,000 of maintenance works completed within the last two years. The Porsche is finished in the interesting Atlas Grey (colour code LM7X), which changes colour under different lighting, varying from dark grey to blue. The wonderfully curved 911 coachwork is absolutely straight across all panels and the paintwork is in outstanding condition, free from any scratches or damage, benefitting from our customary detailing process including a two-stage machine polish, removing any swirl marks that were present. There are very few stone chips to be found on the car, the headlights are crystal-clear and the twin oval “S” tail pipe tips have beautifully clean chrome. The large Guards Red S brake callipers are in lovely order and sit beautifully within the iconic 5-spoke design Carrera S alloy wheels, which are in pristine condition, having just been professionally refurbished.

The timeless black leather interior is representative of the low mileage the Porsche has covered, with everything inside presenting brilliantly and showing very little signs of wear. Even the areas that see most use, such as the drivers side bolster and steering wheel, are in exceptional order. Every electrical function inside the car works as it should, including the retractable sun-roof and the air condition system, which blows ice cool. The Porsche boasts some nice spec such as; multi-function steering wheel, sports hard-back seats with shoulder supports, front seat heating, Bose sound system with built-in subwoofer. The 911 also comes with all of the usual Carrera S equipment, such as Litronic xenon headlights, silver-backed instrument dials, PASM suspension, 19″ alloy wheels, twin oval tail pipe tips. There are two remote key fobs with the car.

The 997 drives and performs exactly as would be expected of a Porsche which such low mileage and with the extensive maintenance works that have been completed to this example. The 3.8 litre rear mounted motor is in excellent health, firing up swiftly, idling smoothly and producing great performance and sound. Mated to the flat six is a traditional six speed manual transmission, which is seamless through all its gears, with assistance from a light clutch pedal. The steering is razor sharp and inspires great confidence in the corners, with a list of suspension components recently renewed (detailed in the below section). The large Carrera S brakes produce powerful stopping power and have lots of life to all the discs and pads. Continental Conti Sport tyres are fitted all round, with XXmm of tread to the front and XXmm to the rear.

A large history file is with the Porsche, with invoices evidencing all of the works carried out to the 911 over the years. Also present is all of the previous MOT certificates, other miscellaneous documentation, and the original Porsche leather owners wallet, containing all of the owners manuals and the servicing booklet.
