This low mileage, one owner from new 981 Cayman S is in beautiful condition throughout. The gloss black paintwork (paint colour code 041) has a deep, swirl-free shine, thanks to the two-stage machine polish that’s been completed as part of our customary FGP detailing process. There may be a few minor stone chips that can be found, but this is all in terms of imperfections. The optional 20″ Carrera S design alloy wheels are in immaculate condition, having been refurbished with us in their original silver in preparation for sale. The guards Red brake calipers, which are enlarged for the “S” variants, are in nice clean condition and serve as an attractive accent piece through the alloy wheels.

Inside the cockpit awaits a black leather interior, which is in a condition that makes it very apparent that the Porsche is a low mileage, low owner example. Wear points such as the driver’s side bolstering, steering wheel, and handbrake are all in brilliant order, and areas such as the dashboard, carpets and door cards are unmarked. Options equipped above that of standard include: Heated seats, sports seats, PDK transmission, 20″ Carrera S 3 alloy wheels, satellite navigation, universal multimedia interface, electrically retractable mirrors with memory, front and rear park distance control,  14-way electric seats, Bose sound package, start/stop function. There are two remote key fobs with the car.

The 981 is joyous to be behind the wheel of and performs precisely as Porsche intended. The 3.4 litre naturally aspirated engine has power in abundance and will sing all the way to 7,800 rpm, producing a beautifully pronounced flat six bark as it does so. The transmission is the second generation of Porsche’s PDK gearbox, which is an impressive unit, with instantaneous, seamless gear changes through its 7 speeds. On the road, the handling is brilliant, with pin sharp steering and a beautifully poised and well balanced chassis. The brakes stop the Porsche confidentially, with the front discs and pads renewed 7,000 miles / 18 months ago and the Pirelli P Zero tyres provide the car with exceptional grip and traction, which were also new 7,000 miles / 18 months ago.

This car has only ever been cared for and worked on by the Porsche main dealer or Porsche independent specialists, which is evidenced by the its service history. Present is the stamped maintenance booklet, as well as a folder filled with paperwork such as invoices for servicing works, MOT certificates and even the original sale invoice for the car with its detailed specification sheet.

The service intervals completed list as follows: 18/04/2016 – 6,835 miles, 11/04/2018 – 15,240 miles, 10/06/2020 – 26,251 miles, 29/06/2022 – 31,633 miles.

The Cayman will undergo our customary FGP Comprehensive Inspection & Report, with any advisory items attended to in preparation for sale. The Porsche will also be freshly serviced and MOT’d.
