Porsche 911 996 Turbo manual, registered on 21/06/2000, 130k miles, MOT until August 2018, full service history, 6 owners, HPI clear.
From our private collection, the one everyone wants; the stunning Guards Red Porsche 996 turbo. It is an early example, first registered on 21/06/2000. The bodywork is straight as a die across every panel and is free from any scrapes or nasty scratches. The paintwork is gorgeous, benefitting from a full body machine polish and wax with us at Friends Green Porsche, making it free from swirl marks and blemishes. The only imperfection to be taken from the aesthetics of this Porsche are a few minor stone chips. The car sits on its original Porsche BBS turbo alloy wheels. All four are free from any curb damage and have Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with nearly-new tread fitted.
The interior of the car has worn well over it's 17 years. The grey leather seats with the optional extra soft, ruffled leather are in good condition with no sagging, no tears, and only minor cracking. The contrasting black carpets are immaculate, the dash and alcantara suede headlining are as new and everything functions as it did when it rolled off of the production line. The steering wheel has been professionally re-upholstered with suede alcantara, much like the cup 911 cars. The Porsche benefits from options such as; full trip computer, cruise control, heated seats with soft ruffled leather, Bose sound system, and xenon headlights. The car's optional extra codes are as follows: C16, 139, 340, 424, 454, 513, 567, 650, 689, 695, 762, 939, 982, 21431. There are two working key FOBs present.
This is the ultimate driving machine: A faultless 911 turbo that has not only been meticulously cared for, but also had top of the range engine tuning completed by Porsche tuning specialists; "Nine Excellence". As stated, the car has had over £11,500 spent on it since 2015 by it's previous owner. Spending this amount of money on it, and completing 40,000 miles in the space of two years, the Porsche was clearly his pride and joy. The performance upgrades made include 890nm paddle clutch, GT2RS intercoolers, fuel pump, high flow exhaust system, high flow air intake, ECU tuning and mapping. The car is believed to be producing approximately 550BHP and is phenomenally fast. In spite of this breath taking power, the Porsche is still very easy to drive and is utterly reliable thanks to the top of the range parts and service that was used. The 3.6 litre twin turbo charged engine also makes a fantastic noise, does not have any leaks, doesn't smoke, and doesn't make any unusual sounds. The performance clutch has brilliant bite, the gear box changes through the gears seamlessly, the steering is precise with enormous amounts of grip, and the big turbo brakes stop the car at a similar speed to hitting a brick wall.
The turbo has a superb service history, including 14 stamps in the maintenance booklet, all the original Porsche manuals and leather wallet, and a wad of paperwork, including invoices totalling over £11,500 expenditure for the last 2 years alone.
The service intervals are as follows; 27/09/2001 - 12,999 miles, 24/03/2003 - 25,982 miles, 16/04/2004 - 33,274 miles, 08/06/2005 - 44,503 miles, 19/06/2006 - 54,171 miles, 09/07/2007 - 62,503 miles, 19/10/2009 - 71,089 miles, 19/10/2010 - 77,467 miles, 29/08/2014 - 78,987 miles, 28/02/2015 - 90,295 miles, 04/06/2015 - 96,128 miles, 22/01/2016 - 110,608 miles, 09/08/2016 - 125,736 miles, 07/08/2017 - 133,456 miles.
In the last two years, the car has also had the following parts/works: Coil packs, heat shields, lambda sensors, 890nm paddle clutch, transmission mount, wheel bearings, spark plugs, GT2RS intercoolers, GT2RS intercooler brackets, coil packs, high flow air intake, fuel level sender, control arms, coolant expansion bottle, drop links, turbo oil catch can, oil pipes, brake pads, spoiler mechanism, thermostat, fuel pump, ignition starter switch, battery.
This really is the ultimate example of the Porsche 996, hence being part of our private collection for the past year. The car is only up for sale due to the imminent erection of our new showroom.
